Arkada records is excited to announce our 4th release - forthcoming split vinyl EP featuring the sounds of ADJ & Adrien d’Elzius.
We are very happy to present the first part of the EP and the sounds of one of the pioneers and main artists in our underground Electro scene, an amazing Dj, producer and  the very  best person to us, the label owner of Pyramid Transmissions - ADJ <3
ADJ originates from and is based in London. 
He has been playing Underground Electronic Music for over 35 years as a DJ, starting in the days of Early Electro and Hip Hop. He has also been producing and releasing music for 25 years, releasing over 200 tracks in this time on a plethora of labels including Touchin Bass,For Those That Knoe, Another Perspective, Ai, Outside, Cultivated Electronics,Yellow Machines, Crobot Muzik, Diffuse Reality, Netlabel ,Digital Distortions and more…has done remixes for Flint Kids, Scanone, LASynthesis, Carl Finlow, Fleck Esc, Arsonist Recorder , Paul Hierophant to name a few. 
He has run the Pyramid Transmissions Record label with label partner Pathic for 20 years and also ran the Analogique record label for 5 years from 1995-2000 releasing Techno, Electro and Electronica as 3 Elements.
ADJ also performed his first LIVE set in a few years in March 2020 MUTABOR in Moscow.
As a DJ, he has played at many festivals including a BLOC residency, Glastonbury For BLOC, Bestival, Shambala, Infiltrate at WMC Miami. 2019 saw another tour of the US with Silicon Scally,Ben Milstein, EVAC, Ion Driver and 214. He also runs the Dodo Club and Frequency Resonate(with Errorbeauty) nights in London and Berlin aswell as playing in Lille, Kiev, Moscow, St Petersburg Berlin,Zagreb,Athens, Napoli, Brussels, Budapest, Vienna, Valencia, Sofia, Paris and many more..

Second part of our EP presents the music of the very talented  and well respected Belgium producer Adrien d’Elzius also known under his allies Hosmoz <3
Adrien d’Elzius was born in the gloomy south of Belgium spending his youth hanging around in a camping and listening to Hip Hop, he started his life in a mess of paradox. At 10, he learned to play drums under his punk’s brother regard, and experimented different kind of rock until 18. That’s where someone showed him a track of Aphex Twin, who blew his mind and made him believe he had finally found the music that suited him. From there, he compulsively spend hours playing around with his computer and slowly made himself a place in the very small community of underground music lover of Brussels under the nickname hosmOz after winning a contest. From his melodic and acidic drill’n’bass beginning, his sound slowed down and got darker, challenging himself to try to create something he couldn’t before. He recently re-released his Lp on Diffuse Reality that make it available on physical form and also his debut album on Burial Soil with remixes by Umwelt and Lloyd Stellar <3

Witches Are Back is an independent artists collective, originated from diverse underground scenes, disconnected from mainstream business' dynamics, with a strong political focus on intersectional transfeminist activism.
The project was born in Rome in 2010 and moved to Berlin in 2015, where magical beings from all over the world have joined the team. In 2020 Witches Are Back gave life to a music label and a radio broadcast.
Focusing on underground artists, the collective creates more sexism free and queer safe spaces to express art in professionally organized events that include performances, exhibitions, concerts and clubbing, releases music, promotes and supports creative talent, giving new impulses to alternative cultures.

6 track full album LP by Fashion Flesh aka John Talaga from Michigan. He is known for his “off the grid” approach to music and has solo releases on great labels such as Unknown Precept, Jacktone and Fit/Est. 83’ Records.

Most all of the instruments used to perform and produce are self-built electronics, oscillators, generators, sound toys, and modulators. Those that are not built from one's own design are heavily modified beyond audible recognition or return. No sampling/stolen sound is ever used or sucked from outside pre-existing sources. 

No laptops, instead tape manipulation and hard copy cut-ups...analog devices that are built for specific purpose and dis-purpose.

"Rubber Mountain" is Fashion Flesh's first full LP and the first solo album we've released on Black Lodge. 6 tracks of mutant mayhem, spanning from odd italo-disco flavors, to no-wave, post-punk, jakbeat, and experimental sounds from the beyond. 

Equally for the dance floor and home listening, this record has it all. Also a visual artist, this release is housed in a full color double-sided jacket with art created by John Talaga himself.

December is a fitting name for French producer, Tomas More: just as the month sits in a transient and liminal space in the northern hemisphere as nature seemingly pauses and the old year passes to the new, December's music similarly sits in between genres; neither here nor then completely. 

With the release of What Remains of Us, first half of a two-part project entitled Transform, December transits through the spaces between electro, goth, coldwave, jungle, and dark ambient creating a collage-like work. 

Of the release, More states, “I am fascinated by music that is impossible to pin down and classify, making it my own weird little style. Of course there's my never-ending attraction to the bizarre and mysterious; to film references; romanticism but I'd say the central element of this record is the idea that everything can subtly be blending together: everything can be transformed; like organic matter made out of our obsessions resulting in a strange and transformed piece of sound that, I hope, sounds like me: in the qualities, and in the flaws. A genuine identity made of never-ending transformations." 

This concept of deft hybridisation is further explored in the sleeve photography by Marie Quéau, a continuation of their work together on recent December A/V live shows. The image evokes Cronenberg-esque body horror, footage from deep-sea shipwreck exploration, or even autopsy footage, giving a clear sense of unease whilst avoiding mere shock value.
