What an incredible time I had playing at Bunker DC this past weekend. I tried a concept for this set an am releasing this in 3 parts according to it.

Live recording from my set at TUFF on October 20th, 2023. 

The set was from the first half the night (doors open, until DJ swap around midnight). First hour warmed the dancefloor up with indie/dark disco. Then building energy with dark progressive, tribal, melodic techno. End of the set tops off with peaktime techno, before switching DJs.

Always a rebel, always a bridge-builder.

Hailing from the deep north of Finnish Lapland, Mr.A drifted on to the dance floors when he reached Helsinki three decades ago – and has stayed right on the floor ever since. Active since the self- made gay nightlife of the 1990s in DIY raves and Helsinki clubs like Nylon, Kerma and DTM, Mr.A has accompanied many generations of night walkers and dancers, breathing together with each new evolution to constantly re-invent himself and his relationship with the queer night.

His legendary parties include Rebels at DTM, and the summertime boat cruise Bears on Board now going off its 15th year. Alongside the regular Helsinki and baltic rounds, Mr.A has shared his underground love in U.K, Australia, Spain, Ireland, Estonia, Germany and beyond.
From stomping house to disco, progressive, tribal, and after hours techno, he has credentials in producing and songwriting – including remixes for Yoko Ono and Fischerspooner, and his track Homofaggot feat. Devon Dunaway released on legendary Tribal America.
