1. Toasty

Before the days of recording technology, music was proliferated by the passing of songs from one musician to another. as each new musician learned the song, it was customary to add a new verse before passing it along. This month's single of the month is a true modern incarnation of one of those songs. The original, penned by a band called THE MOSS BROTHERS, released it out into the world, until it found it's way into the work camps of those who build the BURNING MAN event out in the Black Rock Desert every year by way of a group called THAT DAMNED BAND. which is where the Gentlemen Caller's own BUCK DOWN (who toils out in the desert for a month each year as a staff member of burning man) came in contact with it. 

Joining us on this number is one of Buck's desert co-workers, best friends and all around super swell gal MISS ROACH, from the band GHOST TOWN GOSPEL, who's voice and fine squeeze box work carry this little number one more level out into the universe.

we dedicate this one to all the fine folks who build BLACK ROCK CITY each year, and everyone who comes out later and makes it the best city on earth.
