Froufroufrou presents Mexican resident DJ Low Signal's EP who blends African percussion, jazz rhythms, and hip-hop influences with the deep grooves of funk, creating a unique soundscape reminiscent of '60s, '70s, and '80s samurai and ninja films. Drawing inspiration from the intense, cinematic atmosphere of classic Japanese movies, the artist combines slow house beats with dynamic, powerful percussion to craft a bold, retro-futuristic vibe.

PREMIERE – Cyanica – Umbra (DJ Deep State Shadow Mix) (Hidden Assets)

Lemon Schaden, a dedicated member of the ÖND collective based in Rennes, is known for blending delicate house textures with aggressive hardcore rhythms. His productions balance contrasting energies, creating a dynamic yet cohesive sound. Soon to arrive via the French imprint Armen Crew, his latest parcel, “April Flowers,” showcases four originals that further explore this signature style. The release demonstrates his ability to merge genres fluidly, offering listeners a journey through nuanced electronic landscapes.

Premiered here, the title track exemplifies Schaden’s skill in crafting intricate IDM-inspired compositions. Breakbeat patterns intertwine with deep basslines, while fragmented vocal snippets and warped effects add layers of tension. The result is playful yet ominous, a piece that dances between lightness and intensity. With this EP, Schaden continues to refine his approach, delivering a compelling mix of melody and grit that lingers in the mind.

Meet @seeen3 — a Kyiv-based DJ and producer, @halas_kyiv resident. His selection focuses on deep, melancholic, and driving dance rhythms to form harmonious journeys where electro, tech house, and techno take the lead stylistically.

"This mix is built around my discoveries in dark disco and indie dance that have come my way over the past few years. It’s filled with tracks from all over the world, produced mostly in the pre-COVID era. The combination of these EDM directions creates a sensual and energetic, at times deep atmosphere — one that leaves a slightly psychological imprint throughout the set." — shares Sen3.

NLV is a DJ and producer from Saint Petersburg. She is a resident of the Vestnik project, District parties by the “Bazovoe Techno” team, and the “Vritme” bar-club. Her portfolio includes performances at such iconic venues as Mutabor, Blank, Raf25, Stackenschneider, kiki, and other cult locations. In 2019, she released her debut EP “Call Your Life” on the local label Out The Frame Records.

Harlamy is a cultural figure and producer from Saint Petersburg. In 2024, she founded the Vestnik Podcast project.
Her work can be explored through radio shows and podcasts: Kivach Radio, Renegade Radio Camp, Blatant, TESTFM, Radio REA, Threads Radio, 1020 Radio, Tracklistings, МЕЧТА and District Podcast.
The artist has released several releases on the independent label Visioner Records, as well as a solo single “Overthinking.”

BAAZ returns with two deep and driving house tunes on his third release for Slices Of Life!
Since the release of his last SOL 12inch „Swimmer“ (SOL5) quite a bit has happened: Baaz founded his own successful label  Office Recordings (https://soundcloud.com/office-recordings), he has also created a new moniker for his Dub techno productions as "Eric Miller".
His love of dubby sounds and echo chambers can be experienced in  „The Reason“ and „Ancestor´s fun“, although it´s obvious that Baaz also stays true to his Deep House roots. He skillfully combines spacial structures with his characteristic driving beats and organic sounds.
"The Reason" is a grooving light footed tune with a jumping bassline and develops, step by step, this driving energy, that will not let you go. "Ancestor´s fun" brings up the energy level with stronger beats and open high hats, but the playful warm sounds and drifting strings keeps the wonderful flow that we love to hear from Baaz´s productions.
