"It's a Fine Day" is a song originally written by English poet and musician Edward Barton. It was first recorded a cappella by Jane in 1983. Later, in 1992, the electronic music group Opus III released their version of the song, which became a major hit. The lead vocalist for Opus III was Kirsty Hawkshaw, and their version reached number five in the UK and number one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart.
