"ABOUT US." is the latest project from one of the most recognizable producer-DJ duos, Catz 'n Dogz. 
The artists have invited collaborators from Poland's electronic music scene, associated with the LGBTQ+ community.

Much like their previous projects, this one by Catz 'n Dogz is anchored in similar values: equality, unity, and the embrace of community. The culmination of this broad collaboration will manifest in a compilation of twelve tracks tailored for this occasion, complemented by a film featuring prominent figures from the scene who are instrumental in invigorating cultural life across numerous Polish cities and engaging in activism. The project has joined forces with the "Love Does Not Exclude Association", an NGO dedicated to advancing marriage equality in Poland.

The compilation will be released by Pets Recordings, with cover art created by acclaimed polish illustrator and graphic designer Ola Jasionowska.

"ABOUT US." originates from a longing to showcase Poland's vibrancy and joy to a wider global audience, offering a refreshing contrast to media narratives primarily fixated on political matters. Catz 'n Dogz have been steadfast supporters of the LGBTQ+ community and have thrived within the club scene, benefiting greatly from the reciprocal support of this community.

Therefore, the project is a tribute to those who have experienced social exclusion in recent years, for whom the music environment has always been a powerful source of support. It celebrates new communities centered around personalities such as BOŻNA, LAVAXXX, Twoja Stara, and the increasingly popular duo IKARVS. We will also hear from An On Bast, Baasch and Avtomat. This creative ensemble is complemented by Kitty Sarcasm, Cougar, Iwona Skv, GIGEE, and Max Skiba. Additionally, besides Catz 'n Dogz, the compilation will feature Wojtek's solo project—Ketiov—which he has been developing in Madrid over recent years.

The “ABOUT US.” project embodies a socially conscious campaign promoting a more positive image. This is the Poland we celebrate through dance!

Entire proceeds from the album sales will support the statutory activities of Love Does Not Exclude Association - working towards achieving marriage equality in Poland.

Experienced British artist Ray Mono steps up to Darius Syrossian’s reliable Moxy Muzik imprint with his 'Esperanza' EP packed with dancefloor heat. Adding to the material is Fuse affiliate Seb Zito who remixes the title track, injecting 'Esperanza' with his signature bubbling house sound delivering a deep and jacking anthem.

13th September sees the prolific British house and techno DJ/producer Mark Broom and Snatch! Records’ esteemed label boss Riva Starr combine to deliver their first collaborative single under the guise of Star B entitled ‘Gotta Have You’.

This essential maiden collaboration follows previous Snatch! releases from the likes of Steve Bug, Parris Mitchell, Nina Kraviz, Arthur Baker, Green Velvet, Groove Armada and CamelPhat plus Broom’s very own ‘The Way’ EP earlier this year.

Both Starr and Broom are prolific producers and have been igniting dancefloors all over the world for many years with their unique club-ready productions, but now the time has come for both artists to merge their unparalleled studio prowess and experience to create ‘Gotta have You’ - their outstanding debut record.

<p>In the same vein as her recently launched MOOD imprint, Believe is suited to a number of atmospheres and settings. Across the nine original productions and one collaboration with label boss Adam Beyer, Nicole has crafted a sonically diverse long-player of sounds which draw on the plethora of styles electronic music has to offer. From her accustomed techno to twisted house and everything in-between, the stylistic variety on offer means cuts Believe will easily feature in more intimate settings and big-room venues alike. Believe features a host of tracks aimed squarely at the clubs. From the moody Movin On, the bass-heavy Do Your Thing, to the industrial techno grooves on Come And Lay and the hypnotic chanting vocal on Get On It, the techno-aficionados will not be disappointed with what is sublime set of cuts that will no doubt destroy any dance-floor. </p>

<p>In contrast however, there are more intimate moments to be found. For example the rhythmically entrancing yet uplifting Fly With You, to Liberum Spirita with its mazy ethereal breakdown, and the synth-heavy percussive builder Lumière Tamisée. Nicoles further flexes her production muscle with the stripped back dub-flavours of Big Love With No Apology, and a robotic groove-laden funk on the standout Can I Get Some. Believe delivers a consummate body of work with which Nicoles considerable abilities in the studio are clear for all to hear. Furthermore, it lives up to the high-standards of previous Drumcode long-players and is an engrossing and impressive debut; and one that offers a smooth segue into the next chapter of an already exciting career.</p>
