Hazmat Podcast, Episode 45 feat. ' Chris Nord ' 


Chris Nord, a Dj/Producer from Salzburg in Austria, discovered his passion for electronic music in the early 90s. Back then he started fooling around with toy keyboards as a child and later on he became fascinated with playing the drums. This was not the ideal instrument for keeping family harmony intact, but brought the groove and rhythm into his life.
This was the beginning of an evolving and still ongoing passion for electronic music.

When you find him behind the decks in a club or at a festival, you can expect a floating mix between minimalistic deep tech and minimal techno with a dark and gloomy touch, spiced up with signature groovy elements. In terms of production and his style hereof, Chris always kept various musical options open. His own productions vary from stropped down progressive influenced sounds to more minimalistic and bass heavy (Minimal) Techno tracks with a dark touch. 

The one thing in common for all tracks, is the energy in them, focusing that on the dance floor. During time, Chris has released and remixed on labels such as Subios Records (GER) Pointzero Rec (BG), Techgnosis Record (CDND), Amped (GB), Soupherb Records (GER/IND), Shadow Wulf (USA), Mothr Music (ARG), Music5Clubbers (IT), Joker Black (ARG), Kollektiv Black (UK) to mention a few. 

Chris is also resident on the UK-based Radio and Label called Underground Kollektiv. Last but not least, he also co-founded the successful event-series called Tiefdruck, at the end of 2018, a project also known for their own popular podcast, that focusses on darker and minimal aspects of techno.

Hazmat Podcast Episode 53 feat. ' Neumann '

When Neumann goes behind the decks you can expect dark groovin peak time techno, with a twist of psychedelic synths and melancholic melodies. He has played in clubs like Sisyphos and KitKat in Berlin, underground raves in L.A. and everywhere in Denmark. 
Neumann is spending a lot of time in his home studio and have many releases coming out this year. Currently he has releases out on Shadow Wulf, Kellerhobel, Music4Aliens and Friendly Critters. 
He is the founder and organizer of Copenhagen Knas which he throws wicked partys with. Some of his favorit artists has appeared on the line up such as Lampe, Carbon, Joseph Disco and Kaufmann. And there will be many more knas parties with international artists in the future.

We are excited to welcome Crâciun with a brand new futuristic minimal EP.

This EP highlights their evolution of sound since their first releases back in 2023.

This is a release the is a must have if you strive to be different from the norm.

“Morning Star" of the EP with a very energetic groove. The track is a perfectly balanced track with uplifting vocals and smooth basslines. It is a track that truly showcases the pioneering Minimal House sound of this talented guy. This track is going to be a timeless classic!

The 2nd track of the EP, Geist, takes this release to the next level. This track encompasses a more club-centric track complemented an epic break full of tension, energy and emotion.

The third track of this EP, Wandenreich, delivers dancefloor uplifter. The radio FX vocals coupled with ethnic vocals and a groovy drop make it a go-to track for most DJ's that don't shy away from experimenting and giving the clubbers a truly unique experience to remember.
The final track, Heilig Pfeil, which sounds like it's been made specifically to send the dance floor in to a complete frenzy. Epic is a good word to describe this thundering track that shows a lot of love adding a new dimension of fx concepts. It starts off with a thick layer of sub-bass intertwined with short but driving synths. The bass line is firm and menacing, pushing the track forward. There's really not much else to say, we'll just let the music do the talking.

The art as the cover of the EP comes into the hands of his daughter with a design taken from the pages of his first manga made at the age of 10, we could say that this EP is a wonder of collaboration between father and daughter.
