Following two fairly monster releases on Golf Channel Records there has been a bit of a storm surrounding a four to the floor etiquette which surrounds the music. Secretive and infamous there is a radiant swagger surrounding each release and in the forthcoming weeks a third EP will land on Phil South's Golf Channel imprint in which Payfone fits so well. Already with a beer waiting for you beside his, Damon's signature cheshire smile cracks your scrooge. You push and pull going into it, to spill your emotional trash onto the bar, it spilling onto his lap, ruining his pants. Second by second you are pulled farther and farther from your immediate needs, homeboy is like a Xanax. The magic touch, someone unafraid of the right amount of friendly contact, a little giggling, and enough mutual understanding to make you feel heard sans enunciation. Best part, it can last all night man, he is down. A sunrise rooftop Palermo beats a bedside Dark & Stormy any day.
