TUONGEE WAKENYA references the extremely nuanced cross generational and inter-tribal conversations brought forth by the original compositions of Boaz, Jagingo, Missing Rotich, Msupa S, John ‘Kakee', Musyoki Mutua and the Abakisimba Troupe. The album is grounded by the prowess of Udulele John and Michael Ongaro on the guitars while Oduor Bernard Kidum holds 
down the drums.

2 absolutely beautiful elements, Latyrx' mesmerising acapella for "8 Point Agenda" produced by The Herbaliser and Slackwax' "Midnight" featuring Trinah.

I couldn't find an existing instrumental for "Midnight" so had to cut the (eFF) out of the existing Vocal track, and then just decided to leave the whole thing very long as whenever I start listening to this mashup version I just want to hear the original after.
