In a fast paced, trend recycling environment, terms such as longevity and ephemerality gain a new meaning: how old or new is a tune that was released almost two years ago if you never danced to it? Props to all the producers and labels that kept the fire burning regardless of the unprecedented circumstances surrounding the culture world then and yet once again.

Dub music and its production values has been a well of inspiration for many a musical genre. This first episode is an homage to its footprint on techno, house and club music in general, and how a plethora of producers from different eras around the world interpreted its influence. Two hours of reverbs and delays, hisses and crackles, subtle variations and a sense of stasis not unlike autumn itself when there is a moment that time has almost frozen in its own melancholy.
