The Idea Of You Cover Art "The Idea Of You" is music inspired by the spirit of Eros and all of its blessings as well as its tribulations. It explores the vicissitudes of romantic love, the delicate seasons and contour of life, and all the lessons learned along the way. Themes of desire, passion, limerence, romantic love, idolatry, jealousy, envy, loss, regret, forgiveness, acknowledgment, appreciation, acceptance, and eventually glimpses of true understanding permeate the work. It attempts to communicate that which so many of us can never quite communicate properly with words. It is an open apology for the clumsy mistakes we all make when coming to maturity in learning how to care selflessly for another human being. It is a gentle reminder as to what is most important in life, as well as an invocation to continuously seek self-improvement regarding our understanding of such matters.

This theme is reprised several times, called The Heart Asks Pleasure First/The Promise/The Sacrifice. It is based on a traditional Scottish tune titled "Gloomy Winter's Noo Awa".

The instrument is a Clavia Nord Stage 2, using a sampled Yamaha C7 grand piano, and one single note of sampled strings.

This is a re-recording of the track "Time changed everything" that can be found on the demo album "Time changed everything".

A few weeks ago I released the same track but without the thunder/rain noises in the background. Since many of you seemed to like it, here's the re-recorded version of this song with all the noises in the background.

Nyctalgia- Time changed everything (Re-recording)

This is my submission for the TPC Four Chord Challenge 2014. Piano Cloud members were asked  to compose a new piece of music using only the chords G minor, D minor, Eb major and F major (in that order). It´s my first try to record and mix the sound of my stage piano, I hope you´ll like it.

Ólafur Arnalds, widely known for his powerful film and TV scores (including Broadchurch), is joined by pianist Alice Sara Ott for a haunting new take on Chopin's music. Turning their backs on the traditional approach to piano recordings, they tracked down a number of old instruments and recorded them with beguiling warmth and intimacy—occasionally adding an atmospheric ambience. You feel close to the piano and, strangely, closer to the music. Many tracks use Chopin as a starting point, which is magically interwoven with the rich instrumental language that Arnalds' many fans will immediately recognize.
