“To live is to struggle and to survive means to suffer and to outlast that means to win.” That quote can define the young 20 yr old rapper Kevin “Mr. Who Better” Gay. Born in Killeen, Texas on the military base Ft. Hood on June 26, 1990, ‘Who Better’ would be influenced by the Texas music scene and the music culture Texas had to offer. It would only be little while until Who Better would take his own destiny in hands and began rapping, producing, and ghost writing at the tender age of 13 years old. Rapping has always been a part of his life. Who Better would first look up to his older brother Mike G for musical influence, followed by the likes of 2pac, Lil’ Boosie, Lil’ Wayne, and a host of Texas rappers would play an influence in Mr. Who Better’s music. 
Even though Who Better doesn’t classify his self as a street rapper, or a trapper turned rapper, he has endured what the streets have to offer and through his music he depicts some of his passed situations and struggles that life has put him through. Mixed with hard drums and a bass line out of this world, Who Better puts together a unique sound that cannot be duplicated. Music for everybody is his genre. 
On his own since the age of 16 Who Better the youngest of three would have to put his family on his back and man up and set out to make it without a helping hand. His young son Kevin Jr. would serve up as his ultimate motivation. Bouncing back from Tennessee to Louisville, Who Better set out to make a name for his self on the local rap scene. The young entrepreneur would go on to start his own independent label, Stand Still Entertainment. Dropping local legend mixtapes such as “Sorry for the Delay”, “From Popular to Famous” ,and his first solo mixtape “Thunder over Louisville”, the preceding would serve as a fuel for the “Texas born, Tennessee raised, and Kentucky made” rapper.
Present day Mr. Who Better is in the studio preparing for the future. With the guidance of the former “Sqad Boy” member Terrance “Tee Aye” Alexander, Who Better is expanding his empire and preparing to shock the world. With a highly anticipated street album dropping in the near future Who Better looks to takes his style of music and beat making techniques to a mass audience. “I’m not gone stop till the casket drops.” -Mr. Who Better-
