Building on a drum sample from Lyn Collins' 'Think' (produced by no other than James Brown), a warm base introduces this summer spirited  dubwise Drum'n Bass track. It comes with an unexpected sample from the notorious Milli Vanilli, decently chopped and contextualized through a dubby atmosphere.

Ahmad brings the darkness in the form of  the "Hastur" EP, which is mainly inspired by the "Cthulhu myth". This myth is all about eternal creatures, demons and gods in a fictional universe (originating in the works of American horror writer H. P. Lovecraft).

Across six tracks, Ahmad delivers a raw mixture between Ambient, Drone, Industrial and Halfstep - D&B music. He is opening the doors of perception and creates a hypnotizing / pulsating ride.

Interstitial Exploration 37

Back in September 2023 deviate saw Dennis Leick aka dreadmaul, drive a car load full of instruments and equipment from Mainz to Berlin. What followed was a completely original live-productions set. The vibe was beyond something special and truly legendary. We wanted to release this set despite some technical challenges with recording devices (as is the nature with “live”), its just too good to leave sitting on hard-drives. Thanks, peace and love out to the one and only dreadmaul and of course to all deviate supporters.
