This one was done entirely on the Akai MPC 2000 classic (not the XL) from start to finish... you aren't hearing any alterations from a DAW in this track. This one actually required to floppy disks to save hahaha.

I think the 2000 classic sounds great...  I wont say I am convinced that the 2000 sounds better then the 2000xl like some people believe...  I love both machines and both sound the same to me.

Entire project made in the mpc-live (standalone mode) only using sounds in this 264kb sound kit. No other synths or sounds... just these sounds and some sound design. Mixing and arranging all done in the mpc, no DAWs involved.
