The first collaboration on the EP is with Ramon Tapia, whose musical mission is to make people move. Freedom is definitely a groover, mixing up a steady beat with trumpets and steel drums, reflecting the exciting sounds of Brazilian carnivals. Both the dub mix and the original are prepared with a tasty dose of bass. Rockin On Swing introduces the MC skills of Trigganom for the second collab on the EP. Riva has infused relaxed vibes with a higher bpm and energetic, with unwinding sounds blended over a pulse to get your batty shaking. In the final collaboration with Dolomite, Be Your Best slows down the tempo with some old-skool beats. Super catchy and a definite stand-out track. Freedom is loaded with new ideas, fresh experiments and unexpected collaborations, each one a reminder of Rivas consistent curiosity and unpredictable style.
