Agrandir Le label bruxellois SoulHeat Records continue son joli parcours sur la scène internationale en enchaînant les licences, les tubes et les grands noms. Il n'était déjà pas passé inaperçu avec son récent Miami Sampler 2010 (review) et ce label risque bien de rester sous les feux des projecteurs dans les semaines qui viennent. Le duo fondateur de SoulHeat Records, U-Ness et JedSet s'attaquent en effet au tube international des Nightcrawlers, Push The Feeling On. Ce titre sorti initialement en 1992, a dû attendre 1995 pour exploser et être joué depuis, un nombre incalculable de fois à travers le monde. C'est d'ailleurs avec l'accord et la complicité de Mark Kinchen, auteur original de ce hit, que ce remix a pu aboutir. Avec cette sortie, le label, qui a vu le jour fin 2006, marque une étape décisive dans son développement. Nous sentions bien la montée en puissance de celui-ci depuis la sortie très remarquée du titre A Tu Lado de U-Ness et la chanteuse Robina (review), licencié sur plusieurs compilations de poids mais l'année 2010 est l'amorce du décollage international en mode intensif, surtout en s'attaquant à une chanson aussi mythique que celle-ci.

U-Ness et JedSet, avec le soutien vocal de Marcus Pearson, transforme donc ce titre House des années 90 en un power hit House digne représentant de l'année 2010. Tout est repassé, retravaillé, rechanté et rejoué afin de redynamiser et actualiser ce titre au standard de la House actuelle. Le pari était risqué mais heureusement, il est réussi. Le Main Mix nous offre ainsi une version dans la plus pur lignée de la House actuelle tel que Defected, Hed Kandi ou Ministry Of Sound nous proposent, une version d'ailleurs que l'auteur du tube original apprécie tout particulièrement. Samson Lewis apporte dans son Deliciouse Mix une basse plus profonde et plus agressive avec un vocal plus en retrait. Tom De Neef préfère, quant à lui, une version plus Deep en misant encore plus sur la puissance de la basse, laissant le vocal encore un peu plus au second plan et nous offrant une version parfois plus proche de la Tech House. U-Ness nous gratifie d'une version Dub du titre avec son Dub Of Room Mix. Pour ceux qui préfèrent une approche plus électro du morceau, ils vont surement plus apprécier le remix de Christian Alvarez qui y joue un son plus rempli d'effets, ajoutant certaines caractéristiques des titres Electro House. DJ Floy nous emmène, pour sa part, vers le continent africain avec sa version plus Tribal et Afro Beat, voyage contrebalancé par Miq Puentes qui préfère laisser la place aux changements de rythme, créant des ralentissements avant de repartir de plus belle sur le fameux gimmick qui fait la force du titre. Le package qui couvre déjà tous les styles de la House ne serait pas complet sans une version plus calme, ce que nous offre Mr Mora avec son ChillOut Mix.

Le label nous offre un titre intelligemment retravaillé et ne se contente pas du nom de celui-ci pour faire parler de lui. Le package comprend également suffisamment d'approche du morceau pour satisfaire les amateurs de House quelque soit le courant de prédilection au sein de ce genre. Il est d'ailleurs à noter qu'une "Part 2" est déjà annoncé et nous offre encore différents remixes dans des approches différentes. Nous aurons ainsi droit à un Classic Mix, à une nouvelle version Dub, une approche aussi plus Deep grâce au DJ Floy Spiritual Mix ainsi qu'à diverses versions instrumentales. Il est plus que probable que ce titre (ou un de ses remixes) bercera les oreilles de nombreux accros du dancefloor cet été tant la liste des DJ reconnus le soutenant s'allonge de jour en jour.

So yeah as we wanted at first to make a remix just for the fun of it to enter the competition under another name, we were oficially requested by Rich to do a remix of Damage Control, an original we already spun a lotta times. At first we wanted to make something really out of the box n different more breaks guided like our remix for opiuo but as some certain people cant really appreciate musicianship over style we just gave them what they want, and did what we can do best which is delivering complextro like no one does. (altho we admit this tunes first drop has quite a far too loud vibe). 
But the main reason we did this remix is because we EFFIN LOVE Hirshee, Lazy Rich and Amba, good people with great personalities that we had the chance and honor to hang out with.

Mr Mora is a Moroccan artist and musician who produces and performs electronic music with a focus on chillout and lounge (downtempo). Born and raised in Morocco, Mr Mora developed a passion for music at an early age and started producing and performing his own electronic tracks. His music is influenced by a variety of genres and artists, and he has a unique sound that blends different styles and elements.

Indeed, Mr Mora's music incorporates elements of traditional Moroccan music such as the use of North African percussion instruments, and melodic patterns found in the Gnawa and Berber musical traditions. These traditional elements are blended with contemporary electronic music production techniques such as synthesis, sampling, and sequencing. The result is a distinctive and captivating sound that incorporates both ancient and modern musical elements. Mr Mora's music often features hypnotic and danceable rhythms, atmospheric soundscapes, and evocative melodies, creating an immersive and emotional listening experience.

Mr Mora has  released a number of tracks and EPs, and his music has been featured on different radio shows and podcasts. One of his remixes was selected for the "Hed Kandi America Serve Chilled 2009 compilation". Other tracks and remixes were selected in worldwide compilations and some of his mixs are on the "W-Hotels" playlists.

Mr Mora is a dedicated and passionate musician who is actively creating and sharing his music with the world. His music is characterized by its unique fusion of traditional Moroccan music and contemporary electronic music, creating a sound that is both distinct and captivating.
