Written as a jam to a lover whilst living in Sydney in 2015 and feeling the pressures of big city life taking their toll... All the expectations that we're expected to live up to as adult human beings - only to realise once you've fulfilled them that they're fabricated moulds created by others.

Raincheck of Devotion (raw demo)

Ryzmatic (pronounced "Rizz-matic") is a rogue lyricist, MC and freestyle rapper from Hobart, TAS and Bellingen, NSW. Since 2001, he has been tearing up house parties and mingling amongst some of Australia’s most prestige hip-hop artists. In 2009, he moved to China and learnt Mandarin as a second language. He is now based in Bellingen where he makes his living as a freelance filmmaker and documentary director.

Influenced by music as diverse as soul, funk, reggae, afrobeat and boom bap, Ryzmatic could just as likely be found taking over the mic at a hip-hop show as shredding up the dance floor or hyping up the crowd at a community fundraiser... Rap is a means for him to express his personal struggles, growth and spirituality as a human, as well as tell important stories.
