From friends of racists who didn’t judge til’ it happened

Feeling a lot less diplomatic and more like I wanna smack ‘em

Marches in Missouri, instigators had no pity
When they started a riot, trying to get black folks shot

And we all fell for it if we ever turned on our TV

Rampant coverage of black teens fighting in malls
But not one mention of drunken St. Patty’s Day brawls
When white people are violent there’s a media blackout
But when it’s blacks out, pissed off, call ‘em thugs and go after their balls

Only people I know who argue against privilege 
Don’t know any black people and have no friends who lived it
No point of reference except the face in the mirror
If we stopped believing what we’re told, 2 shits we’d give it

I’m pissed while I’m rappin’ and often pissed when I speak
I keep trying to find the best way to reach my own people
All things being equal, that bubble’s made too many of us weak

And I’m looking at my black daughter thinkin’ how can I fix this?
While southern motherfuckers keep making it onto my shit list
How you defending your position when you ain’t got any facts?
Didn’t do any research and didn’t bother to ask

So I’m too aggressive for the liberals, not enough bullets for the rest
