After releasing an EP, "Angeltribe" on London label TT in 2020, and "Vorphic Skin" on Toothgrinder Press in 2023, Kat Nzingha's debut album "Grind" will be released on AngeltribeXTL in May of 2023. Based in Philadelphia, Kat Nzingha is a multidisciplinary artist that explores experimentations with abstruse textures. By combining their sculptural works with heavy low-end frequencies and celebratory tones they create blissfully cryptic sonic materials that are the extended bodies of modified objects of which they consistently fabricate. "Grind" conjures the spirit of the sculptural entity that is physically attached to Nzingha's body as seen on the album art. The sculpted spirit is manifested through the sonic form of convulsing kicks, metallic percussion, and hyper-processed textures.

Originally meant to be a remix, this track was never released and the project file is lost like so many others, so it joins the forgotten archive. Suitable for the colder months of North Earth this time of year.

Chunky, aggressive, oddly forward thinking for where I was at musically at the time. Listening to this track makes me realise how this style was kind of a turning point for me and the sound I was trying to make.

"Quad" marks Kvadosh’s debut EP; a sonic exploration crafted over the past two years, representing a distinctive soundscape by fusing evocative Mediterranean and North African sounds with bass-heavy, abrasive reggaeton-styled rhythms, resulting in four club-ready tracks. 

This release also features collaborations with both local and international artists—Ethan Nick (@ethan-nick), Chico Naral (@chiconaral from GR), and Dove Molotov (@gentlehooligan from TN)— while still maintaining a very personal and honest direction, true to Kvadosh’s nature.

“Quad” is set to be released on August 23rd under Tunis-based experimental netlabel Mrama Division @mramadivision

Dark city suburbs never sleep—heels clicking, lights flickering, sirens, tire smoke. ₽0₽0 steps out with a debut 5-track EP pulling genres from all corners of the underground. Heavy kicks, broken rhythms, and raw, sharp vocals wrapped in a gentle, feminine touch.

₽0₽0 is a producer, vocalist, performer, and DJ based in Russia, whose sound hits with cheer-squad energy but carries weight—bass-heavy, distorted, and weird in all the right ways.

Over the past few years, she’s dropped releases on international labels like Swine Daily, Santa Sede, Windows.de, and Explity, with airplays on various underground radio stations worldwide. In 2024, she curated a radio show on Australia’s Area3000 and contributed sound design for experimental art performances in Russia.

This EP is a love letter to modern and future club music—a first step in carving out her own signature sound.

kvadosh works by combining raw, folkloric elements with modern electronic frameworks— especially low-end-heavy rhythms, re-imagining them through club-oriented structures. Each track is built as a scene, often mixing the sentimental with the gritty, and the familiar with the unexpected.

It revolts me that people who know nothing about science, about what's happening in the world with climate change, the destroyed villages, the deaths from the extreme heat, the increasing number of storms and tornadoes... And yet we're told it doesn't exist because it's cold sometimes? Seriously?
How stupid does it take to come out with such nonsense?
It's my own way of venting, in a very personal way, the anger I felt while listening to him speak so proudly.
