Elegy is a beautifully reflective and highly emotional work, subtitled, "In Memoriam".
The stark contrast of emotion portrayed in the music is simply breathtaking, from the calm, sombre opening, which builds to a most powerful outpouring at its height, before returning to the soft yearning of heartfelt grief at its poignant conclusion. Elegy is ideal for rememberance services concerts etc. It is also available for the Brass abnd from Kingfisher Music Publishing.

Belated halloween special! Multi instrumental cover of the theme from The Welcoming, a scare attraction that ran at Alton Towers Scarefest 2017 - ’18 and tied in with the Wicker Man rollercoaster. The music was originally composed by Simon Allen, however as you will see I got a little carried away and ended up incorporating a few other tunes related to the Wicker Man theme. See if you can spot them!

I wanted to do this entirely with real acoustic instruments - nothing electric or synthesized/sampled - to fit with the theme of The Welcoming/Wicker Man. Nothing the Beornen would not approve of! So everything here is played by me. Instruments in order of appearance: Hurdy gurdy, jew's harp, tambourine, bodhrán, tin whistle, mandolin, shaker, and violin.
