Next up in our Record Club guest mix series is Project Gemini, aka Paul Osborne. Earlier this month we released his debut album 'The Children Of Scorpio'. The response to that release has been fantastic! Highly recommended for fans of European library music, acid folk, psych-funk, vintage soundtracks and the contemporary breaks scene. “I wanted to put together a mix that was focused on sounds, the things I hear on records that I aspire to when I’m working on my own recordings. Whether it be a raw nasty guitar, a heavy drum break, a beautiful melody or some kind of backwards tape wizardry, I like getting lost in the layers of a record and revelling in the emotional connection I get from the production and sonics of something. It’s not meant to be some super cool list of obscurities, rather just tracks (and artists) I love that I can get lost in and that make me want to plug in and play. As a thanks to everyone for their support for The Children Of Scorpio album I also thought it would be fun to throw in a couple of exclusive edits/reworkings of tracks from the album that I hope you’ll dig.
