Amleto Armando aka 'Puccio' Roelens was a great and requested composer and arranger of the time, been working for Rai and Vedette Records and being also and orchestra leader and pianist. Along with "ROCK SATELLITE" this a KILLER Funk record all the way through, and the most similar record to mythical Torossi's FEELINGS. Incredible B-boy drum breaks in this session with spacey Fender Rhodes, cosmic Synth, mad Fuzz and treated Wha-Wha, heavy basslines, and huge horns section where Dino Piana Jazz trombone seems to play and so on..

Focusing on Modern-Soul genre, the selection ranges from 1977 to 1983 and gathers a nice selection of independent and private press records, all officially licensed.

From the David Nathan‘s downtempo previously unreleased version of "Ain’t Nothing Like The Love", to the beautiful Glen Missick‘s gospel dancer "Message In Our Music", the album aims at providing to the listener a glimpse of the wide spectrum of productions that exist in this musical genre.
Some of these beauties are officially reissued on vinyl for the very first time, including some highly sought after records such as « Deep Inside Of You » by The Harden Brothers, « My Dream » by Harvell Guiton, or « Love With Me » by Don Scott.

The album has been fully remastered by The Carvery in the UK, and features liner notes for each of the songs, plus exclusive pictures provided by the involved artists & producers.

Erik Sumo is one of the most established Hungarian music producers of the last 20 years. His various acts gained national and international, underground and mainstream success, he scored movies - think of the now cult Liza, The Fox Fairy soundtrack on one of our early 7”-s. His latest album, ‘Mount Fuji’ came out in November 2019, it contains ‘Run Into The Wild’, an odd, yet catchy leftfield floor killer with an unmistakable mood built of sinister imaginings from the woods around Fujisan and glamorous disco vibes. On this his EP you can hear the previously unreleased disco dub version of the song and 3 remixes bringing the original to completely different directions. Mytron & Ofofo of Multi Culti and Les Yeux Orange fame chose to go the tribal way by adding some extra percussion and reconstructing the chorus making the track even more dance floor friendly than it was originally. Oakland based producer E. Live turned the tune into a contemporary boogie burner, while Budabeats staple M.W.D.’s version has an atmosphere that is impossible to describe.
