an endless wave to journeys end
and in the end ...

Background
This track appeared as a result of some words in October 2021 that followed on from a similar set of words from 2020. In both cases, they acted as a catalyst for a relatively short orchestral piece piece. So now I have a new series to develop over time entitled 'Metaphysical'.

Again, I feel they are suggesting reaching out to explore the space beyond everyday experience. We really do not know what is on the other side of so many things, trapped by our senses and time itself. But are we  ..... lol

Background

This track appeared as a result of some words created in December 2021, that followed on from similar set of words in the Metaphysical series.  As before, the words acted as a catalyst for a the orchestral piece. This track is now track three  of the ongoing 'Metaphysical' series.

This track has taken quite a while to arrive but I've finally got an ending I'm relatively happy with. Talking of the ending. it does feature a 'book-end' moment right at at the end that might be distressing to some. You have been warned. 

I must admit I quite like the idea of life being a collection of flowing and interlocking feelings and memories. I also felt I had to have the cry of a baby and a last breath to book-end this track.

Background 
This track developed from playing a simple arpeggio that you can hear in the pizzicato strings. It ended up examining the space beyond the norm ... lol

Anyway, an interesting little project and the words that arrived from the 'ether'  acted as a catalyst for the music. I'm quite enjoying using orchestral instruments in my storytelling at the moment.

In Your Dreams - An Orchestral Mystery

A collection of songs, instrumentals and orchestral pieces charting my adventures in home studio recording and production.  All original compositions using voice, acoustic and electric guitar (sometimes using altered tunings), bouzouki, low and high whistles and MIDI instrumentation. 

I'm also using VST instrumentation to create classical compositions and integrating orchestral sounds into my songs and instrumentals.
