"Vermillion" is the lead single off the forthcoming album by Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons, Message From the Other Side. The album is said to be inspired by a career spent DJing across the globe and the famous sunrise parties the pioneering artist is known for. Channelling those sunrise sets and the globetrotting influence of Message From the Other Side, "Vermillion" will be released with a huge remix package, seeing reworks from some of the house scene's biggest names including Agoria, Jamie Jones and Deniz Kurtel.

In his remix, Agoria focuses heavily on the vocals, propping them up with a deep, minimal inclined, backbone. The track throbs and grows in waves throughout it's six and a half minute runtime and crescendos with soaring, bass heavy, synths. "I’m doing very few remixes at the moment, but when Damian sent me “Vermillion" just before christmas I immediately fell in love with the vocals," Agoria says. "I had no other choice but to cut my holiday short to make this remix.  We exchanged a few tracks and ideas in the past but the timing never fit.  I’m happy that we finally found the time to collaborate with each other.”

What if we told you that you could enjoy the sound of tomorrow today, would you be interested? Forgive for getting all Morpheus on you - that's the black guy from The Matrix for all you teeny boppers out there - but we're a little bit excited here at Data Transmission HQ and Italian producer Lehar's latest production, Number One Hero,  is to blame. 

Making his debut on Diynamic’s sister label 2DIY4, we've been unable to get his new single - or its two accompanying remixes - off our office playlist since it arrived in our bulging inbox last month and so set about securing one of the record's three incarnations for exclusive premiere. 

Unfortunately for us, we were given the opportunity to have our pick of the litter. Much head scratching then ensued and after multiple shouting matches and a narrowly won vote, the ayes had it and we decided that Cologne producer Peter Pardeike's rework was ever so slightly more our cup of tea. That's not to say we don't love Engrave LTD boss Musumeci's version, we do, and with both are set to pick up heavy play in a club near you soon, we're sure you will too. Nocta Numerica meets the 2018 with very special release and this is the first collaboration between the label and one of my favorite electronic music artists: Timothy J. Fairplay. He doesn't need to be introduced. Everyone into the game knows who is that.

For this ninth release, TJF made a 4-track EP in his unique and reconizable style - solid release that can not be ignored.
I am very happy to collaborate with Nocta Numerica for the first premiere of the EP with the track "Pure Hex" -  5 minutes energetic cosmic flight with chic air percussion and romantic synthesizers - certainly the main decoration of the release.
"An Introduction To Consumer Electronics" will be out at the begining of 2018, limited to 300 copies. Don't sleep on this one !
