In the heart of Maine's tranquil wilderness, "Thin" was born out of Pat LaGuardia's introspection on the complexities of life's responsibilities. Pat works a 9 to 5 job in a technical role that forces him stare at a computer screen all day. For quite some time, much like the rest of working class America, when he got  home from work he was tired, restless and felt like he needed to "unwind"...  In order to wind down he would watch TV, play video games or browse on his cell phone. After repeating this process he was having trouble sleeping and most of the screws in his head we're coming loose. After some research and some self diagnosis Pat realized that the constant barrage of blue light from all the screens throughout his day were having an affect on his circadian rhythm and his bodies ability to produce melatonin... Ultimately, the Blue Light was keeping him awake at night. These songs are the first collection of songs Pat wrote once he decided to use music in the form of an acoustic guitar and his voice to keep him away from all the Blue Light that was surrounding his life.

Mr. Carnivore is a four piece indie rock band based in Cleveland Ohio. The group’s founders and brothers Pat LaGuardia (lead vocalist and guitar) and Joe LaGuardia (bass), have been playing music together since a young age. The songs sound like a merging of popular acts such as The Grateful Dead, The Avett Brothers, Oasis & Beck. Mr. Carnivore is now recording new music and formulating a release plan for the new material. “We are very excited to see the direction that the new songs take with the addition of Joe Sobek (guitar) and Pat Hakos (drums)”, says Pat. The band is actively pushing their music out on all fronts by obtaining press, airplay, placements and live shows.
