British maestro Massano follows up his ‘Solitude’ release with four fresh cuts full of wistful emotion and solemnity.

Title track ‘System’ opens the EP with a jagged riff, sombre low end and spinetingling melody. Next is his rework of ‘Drown’ by Øostil & Juan Hansen, which utilises a haunting vocal to tantalise your very essence. ‘Odyssey’ features an almighty breakdown and galloping drums to get the energy pumping. To Joachim Pastor, music isn’t about the hypes, trends or the weekly special. A true perfectionist when it comes to the quality of his product, Joachim Pastor studied at the Versailles conservatory between the ages of 4 and 15. Near the end of his time at the conservatory, when his hopes of playing guitar in a band had started to grey out due to the sheer impracticality of it all, he started downloading music software with the intention of creating his own virtual band to play guitar with. That one thing led to another, and Joachim Pastor’s music has been sporting an electronic edge ever since. 

Inspired by the works of seminal artists such as Daft Punk, Sonata Arctica and Jean-Michel Jarre, Joachim Pastor’s melodious brand of electronica offers a sense of sophistication not easily found in today’s music world. Designed to make listeners feel with every fiber of their being, his music is an expression of emotion with a danceable twist, endorsed by hundreds of thousands of fans on Spotify alone as well as those who witnessed his performances at the likes of Dour, Tomorrowland, Paleo, Olympia, Solidays, DGTL, Pleinvrees and more.

BIO:
Singer /songwriter/ rapper/ DJ/ playlist curator from Milwaukee, WI and now living in Tampa, FL.  His debut was an EP called "Rise," released in June 2018.  The EP established him as a solid electro-pop artist, but since then he's been changing lanes through combining hip-hop/rap, pop, and electronic elements in most of his songs.  He also has received attention for some acoustic covers...  his Post Malone cover of "Feeling Whitney" has amassed a quarter million views on Youtube.  He returned to his electropop roots in 2023 with "Blue to Purple" which quickly became his biggest single to date, having been streamed over 500,000 times across various platforms. His DJ mixes here on Soundcloud have also been well received by listeners in many countries all over the globe.   Founded @Deep-Waters-Music (Record Label) in 2024 

"I would describe myself as a reformed partier.... lol.  I grew up in Wisconsin and started drinking at a very young age.  I kept that going for a long time, but eventually it just wasn't working for me anymore.  I decided to stop drinking in March of 2016, and I haven't looked back since.  I still have that addictive "thing" going on, but now I'm more addicted to exercise and making music and DJing.  It's been a long journey, but my love of music is only growing as I get older.... so I plan on being around for a while and I see no end in sight."
