Having worked with electronic music since 2004, he has found a real passion in his expression through psychedelic music. He has had a musical education and has been a violinist since his childhood, and he also used to play in the orchestra. Over the years he has developed his very own remarkable style of music, characterized by expressive sound design, massive basses and thoughtful atmospheres. Having rocked countless international dance floors, he never ceases to surprise his public with his powerful and intelligent signature sound. Watch out for this artist since he will keep innovating the genre for years to come.

Welcome to my new recorded live and improvised journey which was played at a little gathering, with beautiful souls.

A warrior who is not as strong as superman but is always present on the battlefield to fight for the right cause.  Our purpose is to get the world dominating darkness to come back to its rightful place for a universal balance with light. 
A Warrior's path is made up of uncertainty, obstacles, unplanned situation and tasks that require bravery. He gets knocked out, but always gets back up. As long as he focuses on his goal, he will always be guided to overcome every flaws and deliver the expected results. 

So be the warrior you are meant to be. Stay true to your purpose and magic will occur.

This year was my first time at Free Earth Festival as a DJ and as a listener. It was indescribable awesome...The sound was massive and crystal clear...Visuals from another dimension....Great food, magical place and above all, lovely people from all around the world! I miss it so much already and i am very grateful that i was a part of it. Driven hunt 
When someone asks me what my favourite time to play is,
is the answer
At an open air - the sunset
In a club - from 01:00 at night 

As different as these two locations are, they do have one thing in common.

Open Air : 
The sunset is probably the most beautiful moment of the day, it is energising and not for nothing is it celebrated by many people every day.
It is a kind of magic that captures us and has been revered for thousands of years  by many peoples around the world for good reason.
But it's not this moment or the twilight that fascinates me so much, it's the play with people.
I love watching people on the dancefloor, whether they are dancing, whether they are laughing and having fun with the music. 
I love making eye contact with people, it gives me positive energy when I can see the laughter in their eyes.
it's a nice moment every time.
It's the only way to judge whether the music really fits, it's not so easy at night, because everything becomes one big opaque mass.
Blinded by light effects, lasers and fog machines.

The time before the downfall is also the time when most people gather on the dancefloor.
However, the whole thing is still a bit subdued, they chat on the sidelines or at the bar,
They watch the game, just as I watch them.

In the club.
It's no different here.
People usually arrive around midnight or a little later, they first stand at the bar or on the dancefloor and chat, they watch what's going on, just like I do.
In both cases, it's the DJ's job to lure them onto the dancefloor, to get them going,lead them musically into the night.

For me, it is always a game, a challenge, to get the audience 
from their seats and to drive them deeper and deeper into our music

You have to musically convince a lot of people to get involved with your playing and that should be done with care and caution, because it's probably not smart to slay they immediately with your music.

Yes, you have to make compromises, you can't play some tracks because they're not appropriate for the time, but this game is always worth it to me.

It's actually no different to what our ancestors did thousands of years ago.
They went into the forest or the countryside and used lure calls, rhythmic drumming or even startled the game to drive them to a certain point.

Today this is called a driven hunt!

Hypatia is the name of the music project by Adrian Torres Arabi, 24 years old, born and raised in the magic island of Ibiza. For sure, the island itself, known worldwide as one of Europe’s favorite nightlife playgrounds, played a big role in the evolution of his artistic career. The steady exposure to party life motivated Adrian to get into electronic music, starting with techno and deep, then soon switching to more psychedelic atmospheres.
His playing style has climbed slowly but constantly since he was very young. In 2013, he started his career as Dj, performing and showcasing his favorite artists’ sound in Ibiza. His selection was inspired by the Old School glories animating the island’s psychedelic scene at that time, such as Cosmosis, Etnica, Electric Universe.
After some years, and much more parties around, the lucky encounter with Miguel aka Lunatica, gave him the motivation and the necessary skills to start his own project under the name of Hypatia. Initially signed to the Spanish Label “Own Spirit Recs”, his music production is definitely psytrance oriented now, but still keeping a melodic old school touch. His tracks are solid and structured, sustained by a strong and sharp bassline, spiced up by deep, round, groovy sounds. The overall result of his Live Set is a highly psychedelic trip, open and energetic, suitable for both day and night dancers.
He collaborated with different Labels, and released more than 10 Ep’s in only 2 years of activity. But Adrian’s passion for the psychedelic culture and scene doesn’t end in the studio. He is also an active and talented promoter, collaborating both with big festivals – for example Own Spirit in Spain – and with smaller local realities such as Burning Slippers in Granada. His mission is providing his expertise and competences to keep alive the scene in those places where it could be easily eaten by mainstream culture. His numerous projects are now taking him around the world and for sure he’s not gonna stop soon.
