Iboga Records’ own monthly show, presenting the label’s artists and releases through live and DJ sets and interviews, made exclusively and published for the first time on radiOzora.
The story of Iboga Records began in the beginning of the 90´s when an organization called “Rotundum” arranged several events in the period between 1990-97 in the greater area of Copenhagen, Denmark. Dj’s Amon, Banel, and Emok were 3 of the 25 involved in the group, and after years of event organizing & performing, the idea of a Copenhagen record label, a platform for a new progressive electronic sound was beginning to take shape.
A studio was started, and in 1993 the first C.D. compilation (Tabernanthe) was released. It consisted mainly of the newest and freshest Scandinavian sounds of that time, and it was in these early days that the artists Beat Bizarre, Phony Orphants, Oryx, Reefer Decree, and Lurifax, made their first groundbreaking releases and started to build a very strong reputation on the Iboga label.
Today the Iboga artist roster includes names such as Behind Blue Eyes, Phony Orphants, Antix, FREq, Liquid Soul, Perfect Stranger, Sun Control Species, Flowjob, Ace Ventura, Beat Bizarre, and Reefer Decree.
Furthermore Iboga records have a sub label, “Sofa Beats” (downbeat and chill-out / ambient). Since the early days Banel & Emok have been working hard on establishing the label on a global level. It is one of the leading in its genre and they assure that the label will keep delivering those beautiful & amazing sounds that have become the trademark of Iboga Records.

In the end of February I had the pleasure of playing at the beautiful HalfmoonFestival in Koh Phangan, Thailand, for the second time. Since I was living in a suitcase waiting to move into a new place all of March I did the same set in a completely different part of the World - Oslo, Norway - at Witches Spring Gathering March 24th. Finally the gear is de-bubble wrapped and unpacked and I had the chance to record the set at home to share online.

The set was recorded on Pioneer CDJ850's and DJM400 mixer.

This morning I was reminded on Facebook that it was already one year ago I played at the HalfmoonFestival in Thailand for the Songkran, Thai New Year, celebration - So I thought it was about time (actually long overdue) to record the set and put it up - so here it is. Been dancing at home today, recording the set and enjoying the memories from a great party in the jungle - can’t wait for better days where we will all be able to enjoy music together under the open skies once again. Sometimes we feel like we’ve seen it all, we’ve heard it all, and we can’t be surprised anymore. Most of the time this is true. But not in this case. It takes a very special alchemy to reach the magical ingredient of a sonic intoxication, and this is exactly what Drukverdeler and Bim have created. This unique live act brings together two talented artists to push the limits of the artistic practice of Psytrance into realms not seen before.&#13;
 Andreas Binotsch aka Bim and Michiel Thole aka Drukverdeler (in Dutch - Pressure distributor), met in 2001 and realized that combining their talents makes a super powerful electronic machine that few can resist. Bim’s mastery of mixing since the 1990s topped with his samples and vocals AND Drukverdeler’s programming and engineering skills create a psychedelic monster that cannot be stopped. And to be honest – you don’t want it to stop! &#13;
If you heard Psytrance for the past 20 years you must have encounter Bim along the way. Being a prominent Dj from Germany as well as the founder of the monumental label Medium (later Midijum) Dj Bim has established himself as one of the leading figures in Psychedelic Trance. He has compiled more than 100 compilations for labels such as Millennium, Sony Music, ID&amp;T, Arcade, Time Warner, Universal, Nova Tekk and Beluga. His musical journey began in Goa, therefore, it is no wonder why he prefers long sets that transcends everybody on the dance floor to a different universe, while adding more colours, shades and layers of psychedelica that feels like meditation.  &#13;
Drukverdeler aka Michiel Thole comes from the Netherland and started producing music in 2004 as part of the project Mad Contrabender. After meeting Bim in a party in 2011 and giving him his track Universe, Bim has realized that this could be a beginning of a beautiful collaboration. He not only released this track in his Yellow Sunshine Explosion/Millennium Records, but also started to create a special laboratory where music experiments were made without any a formula or a pattern. Each time a new formation would come to life, and this has resulted into one of the most innovative fascinating collaborations out there at the moment.&#13;

This is not about the click-and play artists or djs. Every trip you will be taking with Drukverdeler and Bim is a new and fresh amalgamation of sounds, feeling and atmosphere of that exact moment. You can never replicate it because it is a new adventure, a new gathering of energies, a onetime experience, a onetime musical journey.
