Island Earth

New song hot off the battle field.  This song was definitely inspired by Lindsey Stirling.  As I wrote it in my mind I could see a girl dancing in a field thinking about her heroic lover who was in a far away land preparing for battle.  Hope you enjoy the song.

Warriors Gathering

According to singer Tatyana Naryshkina, the central song is the track "Fox", which returns to the early days of the band with its singing based on the shamanic tradition and the percussive elements. “Fox" is about a girl who becomes a fox. "After this song, the rest of the album took shape," recalls Naryshkina. Children's folk tunes were added as distinctive elements. It is played on historical instruments such as Russian double flute, hurdy-gurdy and gusli.

This one came together over several months. Started with piano loops inspired by more minimalist music, then split into several sections. The middle section has been fleshed out a lot more, with better transitions and more varied moods. Ended up putting a melody in there that reminded me of David Wise's music for Donkey Kong Country, one of my favorite soundtracks.
