April 2021, the present is still fixed and so Mr.Doe has been looking back to the past to when one of his favorite artists, Serge Gainsbourg, was still alive. A time where the Swiss artist has been enjoying travel to this last few weeks through old tapes videos.

With its own interpretation of the Légionnaire from M. Gainsbourg, Mr.Doe wants to make an hommage to our grandparents from another time and tries to live through them music.

"Virée nocturne" marks introspective Swiss artist Mr. Doe's first release, telling the tale of this vivid, yet unexplainable energy nighttime shadows over one. During the process, what was a 4 track EP shaped itself into a 2 track EP, losing elements like one loses memories of those nights, incomplete and confused, triggered by first track ''mauvaise fée''. With an inherent groove mingling in high pitched confused notes yet paved by a heavy kick drum, the opening track unfolds into mysterious french voices, leading slowly to an up-tempo, entirely analog track pushing us one step further into an acid, fast pulsating dream, ''Il était une nuit''.

This first EP sets a bar of modern experimentations between tales and stories of nights the artist lived, nights that shaped Techno and the works of its inherent groove into two track building up from digital to analog, usual to fast-paced and ultimately inviting its listener to let loose into this research for an inner madness.

"les mains entre deux chaises" marks the second release from Swiss artist Mr.Doe. The story is taking place right after his last EP "virée nocturne" and invite listeners to introspection through the first track "j'essaie de vivre" - I try to live - where the artist, trapped in a room, tries to understand what he's doing. A reflexion that brings to the next track "prends ma main, on y va" - take my hand, let's go - where the man behind the mask finally decide to go forward and forget about its doubts and social pressure.

While the first song is a self-listening track that invites people to dive into their own thoughts, the second one is a floor oriented song that aims to bring ravers together and let them share a connected moment. This two 100% analog tracks, composed with raw, unperfect and handcrafted sound, will surely find a place at any time in a set with their own song signature.

9 months after his first release and 14 months after deciding to make music the central piece of his life, Mr.Doe presents us his third release made from two powerful kinds of "DJ tool" tracks.

Making the connection between what has been learned and experienced during this first year of composition and what is coming for the future, the artist invites listeners to look differently their surrounding.

Inspired by quotes from the Dead Poets Society movie, listeners are let with their own interpretation of what these two tracks want to share.

While on the first track the ride is a feeling of depersonalization and nostalgia from one, the second write rollover a loss of control and a state of submission.
