CANVAS lost tape

Mr Double B- O N C E

Ongeveer 8 jaar terug debuteerde Mr double B als solo artiest. De artiest, echte naam Bryan Blinker, is geen eendagsvlieg. Zijn nieuw album CANVAS reflecteert de groei mee gemaakt. Een artiest die zijn verleden loslaat, opzoek naar wie hij uiteindelijk wil zijn.

Mr double B begon zijn carrière als lid van Lyrical Forces. Na het uitbrengen van tal van mixtapes, lanceerde hij in 2007 zijn eerste solo mixtape 10 km per uur. De titel is afgeleid uit de sfeer die heerst op de mixtape.  In 2009 bracht hij zijn tweede en tevens laatste mixtape uit genaamd The Boombap. De naam kwam voort uit het gelijknamig hiphop radio programma dat hij toen had bij een lokaal radio station SRS 96.3FM.

Het huidig album CANVAS is muzikale groei in vergelijking met zijn vorige werken. Een openhartige uiting van relatie geuit niet alleen in de beschrijvende teksten, maar ook in de rijke muziekale experimenten. Geheel geproduceerd door Fabian FIB, met bijdrage van Skalid, Stephanie Nunes, Maxwell, Dominique Ravenberg, Janice van Klaveren, Cheryan,Mr EO en Kwasi maken dit geheel een greep naar volwassenheid.
