Man... after a year and a half of suffering, it's finally here. Another update to Bullet Hell.

God, where do I even begin with this track? It's easily the hardest thing I've ever made. Leo and I started cranking ideas out a week or so ago while I was pretty bummed from a family emergency going on. I was out of the state and without my laptop, but had the drive to work and didn't want to lose it. So we made a deal. I'd finally update Bullet Hell for him, and he'd make a sprite for me.

I got to work as soon as I could. When I first started, I felt a little... off. Nothing I was coming up with really "fit" right. It was just so out there and just so... weird. I didn't even have any SM64 rhodes. So me and Leo got in VC and began discussing. And... we figured it out.

The problem was, we were too focused on making it fit in. No dumb ideas could work if we just threw it vaguely into the Megalo format with all those new cool techniques everyone was coming up. We needed something big, something different, something...

Stronger than Soundcloud.

And then it hit us. Lyrics! Of course, lyrics. Why wouldn't you want lyrics in your megalo? In fact, why even make it a megalo? Why didn't we just come up with a totally unique and original battle theme? I started humming a weird melody as a joke, but that joke ended up being perfect. So I cranked it out and made the backing.

Finally.. the singer... well, I was in a musical once, so I thought I did a pretty damn good job. It's not really within my range, but I think I did stellar. I really projected the essence of SC Sans in the judgement hall, don't you think?

Honestly, I'm very proud of this. Leo and I spent hours and hours cranking out the perfect version of Bullet Hell for all of you, and I really hope you enjoy it. This was my greatest musical challenge ever, and it... it really brings a tear to my red eye. So I hope you all love it <3
