This totally improvised Live Stems Mix of Gino Soccio's iconic track "Dancer" was performed during a Twitch stream on March 19, 2022 using Traktor DJ Studio and a Native Instruments D2 controller.

It has the sort of hypnotic flow that feels like a perfect fit for getting 'lost in sound' at an after-hours party in a dark room full of sweaty bodies.

Another incredible year from music, even as I scaled back immensely from weekly and monthly releases.  While I enjoyed the break, I am eager to get back at putting out Summit Sessions monthly.  For those always waiting to get the next mix, I apologize for the light amount of work this year!

Best of 2018 Part 1

This is a 3 hour live set recorded at The Grand Factory in Lebanon last weekend. Starting in Melbourne, I had played 8 cities in 9 days and this was the last gig.

The Grand Factory is a fairly large but hidden away space at the top of an old bed making factory (pictured). 

The crowd, the venue and the city are amazing and it was the perfect ending to a week of no sleep.

I did this mix earlier in the year, spending some time sourcing some lesser known tunes that rocked Renaissance back in the day. I wanted to create something from the era of the original Renaissance mix collection, but from my experience as resident at Venue 44.
