Alors, définissons le groupe dijonnais comme un amalgame de « chanson aérocoustique » (dixit eux-mêmes). On ne va pas dire le contraire d’autant qu’on perçoit où ils veulent en venir. Gauthier Narjollet écrit, conçoit et met en place un alliage de textes poétiques, revendicatifs, acides et perfides. Jean Marc et Vincent Gautier l’accompagnent à la rythmique mais pas en tant que faire-valoir. Ils apportent leur touche personnelle qui permet au trio de ne pas sombrer dans la redite d’une chanson française basique et linéaire. D’autant que Gauthier, avec ce cd, distille savamment les titres qui font mal, qui font rire, qui font rêver, qui font pleurer (oui !).

Le titre de l’album illustre parfaitement ce qu’il souhaite donner : un savant alliage de tout ce qu’on vient de décliner. Alors ce sera à vous de ressentir quel morceau vous fait frémir, vibrer. Il y a le choix avec « Cul de Sac » assez classique, « Barbie Schizo » plus osé, « Grain de... » plus pop et notre petit préféré « Quitte moi », tout en rupture (ça tombe bien, si on peut dire !) pour un final effréné dont on ne connaissait pas la capacité du groupe.

Avec Le Dosage du Café, Gočenko atteint une maturité dès ce premier opus, ce qui n’est pas rien, dans une veine pop-folk-chanson, légère d’apparence, malsaine en souterrain. C’est ce qu’on apprécie avant tout ici.
