Pan Órama

We, the citizens FP13.cg.em.gc is a sound art piece made of manipulations of sounds sent by Gustavo Costa and Eduardo Magalhães, together with sound recordings from Abu Dhabi made and manipulated by me. Without any other intention besides providing a pleasant ambient sound for the space this piece was conceived (studio at Sonoscopia), FP13.cg.em.gc approaches and blends cultures in ways only music can, by superimposing in harmony sonorities from different religious cults, urban soundscapes and sonification of data from urban noise. Just let yourself go and enjoy!

Canon a 4 con uccelli obbligati is an environmental sound piece I create with sounds from the natural wildlife reserve at Sir Bani Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. This soundscape uses sounds from Arabian Oryxes while being fed, and birds, captured in Ambisonic A-Format. The crackling sounds you hear, which seem at times to evoke Xenakis's "Bohor," are produced by the horns of the Oryxes while competing for the food. These sounds were collected on a trip for my course  "Designing Sound for Scene and Screen" with Laura Waltje, Cristóbal Martinez, and Lucas Olscamp
