All the great music that came out in 2020 was the bright spot in a monumentally tough year.  It made us realize even more how important these artists are to us, as their music literally brought us health and happiness when we really needed it.  

From the bold experiments in collaboration of the Avalanches to Daniel Avery's haunting homage to Andrew Weatherall this year's mix feels a little bit like the year itself: it digs into deeper meaningful vibes, more thoughtful & moody moments, & celebrations of life.   

So let's take a trip together and revisit the weirdest year of all time.

This song collection came completely unexpected to me over the last two days, from a place of pure flow. I watched a few videos of a very special human, music producer, DJ and friend, the late and oh so great Pumpkin. He talked about playing "that pretty shit" to make the beautiful people smile. I read a quote from him about taking risks with DJ sets, and I know from our chats that he's all about coming from the heart. It is completely out of my comfort zone to share this with you, I really don't know how to mix so many diverse songs, I found myself thinking that the transitions should be smooth as butter before posting this, I judged myself for not being good enough to do anything to honour such an amazing man of music- but then I was reminded of his words, and I decided that I don’t want to wait to share this pretty shit with you. Most of Pumpkin’s produced tracks are in here, woven with other songs that just remind me of my friend, make my heart smile, and my booty wanna sway. I love you. I hope you enjoy.

I’ve always played with energy during my DJ sets, but really took it to the next level this time. I set intentions for it to be a connecting, expansive, transformative EXPERIENCE for everyone involved.

I was pulling energy from the whole universe, channeling it through my body and then out through my heart to everyone dancing with me.

I washed everyone in white light and lit the dance floor up with violet flame. I send golden and pink light to peoples hearts. It was a beautiful collaboration between the Universe, the music, the people dancing and me. I’m so grateful and wondering what’s possible next?!!
