Sometimes songs just hit you like a ton of bricks. When they do, you have to catch them in that moment before they disappear forever. These moments are rare, but when they happen they are always special. It’s like catching lightning in a bottle. This is how Veins was written…I woke up one morning while visiting my parents and picked up an old music box from my childhood. I cranked the rusted handle and this beautiful little ominous melody emerged. I felt the whole song enter my head. It was urgent. I grabbed my guitar, searching to place the melody from my mind onto the strings. 15 minutes later Veins emerged! This is my reason for living! These moments make everything worth it! I am so beyond excited to share Veins with you today! It has been a long time coming! Thank you to everyone who takes the time to listen! It is so humbling and I am so grateful! Much love to all!
