No Metropolis Invite de hoje trazemos BAUD, francês radicado em Paris, nascido em Toulouse. Assim como sua música, BAUD é criativo, cheio de vida e exala energia. Na sua casa, a música era uma presença constante, tipicamente uma mistura de disco e techno, o que teve um impacto profundo nas suas preferências musicais. Essa influência o levou a produzir sonoridades modernas, como o indie dance. Como DJ, já dividiu cabine com DJs renomados como Colyn e Moonwalk, e durante a pandemia, BAUD lançou o The Quarantine Festival, uma plataforma de streaming de DJ set. Como produtor, recentemente fez sua estreia pela gravadora brasileira Print ID, com seu EP Tancredi. Hoje, sua curiosidade o leva a passar muito tempo em estúdio, aprendendo sobre produção de música eletrônica. Sua paixão pela música se tornou um dos aspectos mais importantes de sua vida.

In today's Metropolis Invite we bring you BAUD, French based in Paris, born in Toulouse. Just like their music, BAUD is creative, full of life and exudes energy. In his home, music was a constant presence, typically a mix of disco and techno, which had a profound impact on his musical preferences. This influence led him to produce modern sounds, such as indie dance. As a DJ, he has shared booths with renowned DJs such as Colyn and Moonwalk, and during the pandemic, BAUD launched The Quarantine Festival, a DJ set streaming platform. As a producer, he recently made his debut for the Brazilian label Print ID, with his EP Tancredi. Today, his curiosity leads him to spend a lot of time in the studio, learning about electronic music production. His passion for music became one of the most important aspects of his life.

Patric Große alias Patty G. who comes from Erfurt in Thuringia, began handling black gold in 1998 at the age of 15 for the first time. At the beginning he was fascinated by wild techno until he gradually developed a feeling for the music, which shaped his own style. His music is strongly influenced by acid house, minimal and Detroit 303, 808 sounds, but he also always knows how to convince with a mixture of bass-heavy deeptech & indie sound.
Things went uphill very quickly and in 2001 the label Kopfgeflüster was founded together with Rick Diablo & Dirk Knocks. Numerous parties were successfully organized in smaller clubs, bars and other locations. This is how he developed into a well-known DJ in the Erfurt scene. As an organizer, he organized several series of events, where he pursued his passion as a resident DJ. In addition to Thuringian greats behind the turntables, he also gave the young Erfurt DJs the opportunity to prove themselves.

In the near future, a group of intrepid clubbers embarked on a journey unlike any other. Their destination was not a place on Earth, but an entirely different universe. Their quest was to find a form of techno music that had been rumored to possess mind-altering qualities, transcending the boundaries of sound and consciousness.

Their voyage began at a secret underground laboratory, nestled in a remote desert. A team of visionary scientists and sound engineers had designed a portal, a swirling vortex of swirling, iridescent energy, capable of transporting them to this uncharted realm.

Stepping through the portal, they found themselves in a dimension where the very fabric of reality was altered by sound. The landscapes were surreal, with towering crystalline structures emitting pulsating waves of light in synchrony with the hypnotic techno beats that reverberated through the air.

As they journeyed deeper into this universe, the music grew more profound and transcendent. It was as if the melodies and rhythms were alive, resonating with their souls, and leading them to profound insights about themselves and the universe. They found themselves dancing under skies filled with ethereal colors, surrounded by beings of light who communicated through music and motion.

The further they delved into this mysterious realm, the more the music altered their minds. It was not a hallucinogenic experience but a transformative one. The rhythm and melody merged with their thoughts, expanding their consciousness, and unlocking hidden depths of creativity and understanding.

At the journey's end, the explorers returned to Earth, profoundly changed by the experience. They had discovered a form of techno that indeed altered the mind, not through substances, but through the power of sound and the transcendental journey to another universe. This newfound music became a source of inspiration, shaping their lives and the music scene for generations to come.

Biography: Decker//
DJing has been a huge part of Montreal-based artist, Decker//’s life for the last 15 years. His first love, Drum & Bass, has always been a forefront, major influence. In the early 2000s, deep dark futuristic soundscapes of artist such as Blame, Seba, Future Engineers, Blu Mar Ten, ASC were a few of Decker//’s first muses for inspiration. This translates into his more current sound - Deep & Tech House, very distinct to his musical palette.
Over the past few years, Decker// has stepped up his game by playing regularly in his hometown Montreal. His first international gig was in Detroit, MI for Movement 2014 and he was a booked artist at ADE 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2019 in Amsterdam.
Decker// has been flexing his Producer muscles in the studio as well with his first release on Stripped Digital, finding itself on the Beatport charts. His focus now is in his productions and listeners can expect more bass and groove from Decker// in the upcoming near future.

Just realized I've never payed a hommage to all the girls, ladies and women I've meet on my way, playing theirs tracks or sometimes sharing the stage. 
So here it is, almost 1h30m long mix of tracks with a feminine sign of extraordinary.

Ofc there could be more of them but I've choosed most respeced and played by myslef icluding long therm stage veterans like Nina or Anja to my current top like BLANCah, Mira, or duets Holy Moly, Double Touch, Just Emma.
