Origins

Born in Lakenheath, United Kingdom, Marcus “Ritmo” Figueroa had begun his musical ventures at 16. Though his residence has briefly included Tennessee and Arizona, Marcus has been a native to California since the age of 3 where Los Angeles is home. 

As a self taught entity, Marcus held and continues to hold the practice of discipline in his foresight at all times to absorb all he can about the craft. With growth through knowledge he began dialing in his own unique tone and style. Experimenting in all but finding his niche in the indie hard rock genre, Marcus feels most connected and grounded expressing himself through the freedom of rock, where intense and emotional perspectives reside within. 

Through the road of an impactful life among an undeniable bleeding passion, his instrumental music possesses an alluring pull in which his audience becomes enthralled. In the midst of painting their own pineal portraits and connecting with experiences, Marcus’ audience begins to understand the soul and passion that is imprinted through his work. 

Up and coming, Marcus continues to defy any and all barriers that arise purely through will and passionate determination. With a love and admiration of all individuals who pursue and support all forms of art, Marcus remains persistent with all doors open to contribution, collaboration and most importantly continuing to build his legacy to forever thrive through his craft.
