Another of the tracks off my recently released album, HardSpeed: Love is Never Over. It's an alternative take on 'Burn' from a few albums ago.  It's simplified in terms of composition, but I think the arrangement feels more 'full.' It feels more like an actual workout song and less like a pop song this time through, too.

I've had this one sitting around on my hard drive for a while. It's a town/village theme for the Elancia book series. This one focuses on a small, snowy town in the high desert mountains (and the surrounding environs.) 

A lone gunfighter with a still-weeping wound wanders into town in search of a ruthless gang of bandits, leaving bloody footprints in his wake.

Snowtear

The final major setpiece of the 4th Elancia book/album combo finally gets its own song. I've been writing this part of the book on and off for months through all the disasters that happened in my personal life. The whole time, though, I've been unable to nail down the song until now.
The book ends in a largescale 're-education' facility. It was ironically hard to come up with a song that properly conveyed the amount of misery that the place contains. I had to cross that with the fact that the place is in the middle of coming apart at the seams when the main characters all arrive. Everyone has a different reason to be here, and different things they want out of the place. One of them, in particular, wants to tear the whole rotten thing down, and may just get their wish. (Warning: May contain leitmotifs)

Fatal

I'm still dealing with pretty heavy burnout, and am trying to find ways to combat it and keep working. After all, music is my job, and I can't really afford vacations. As such, I wrapped up this Elancia track I've had sitting around partially finished. It's for an area of the Elancia novels' world that is covered in thick, dense jungle! This song has been around for quite a few years. I think I first composed it in or around 2003.

Green World

One of many "characters working through their problems" themes from Elancia. This one in particular is quite old, and took a lot of work to fix up for the new album. Like with a lot of Elancia music, it has a tinge of country in it. I might add more to it later? But for now, enjoy!

This is a pretty old Elancia song (I think 2012-ish?) that took me forever to track down and remaster. I ended up just re-recording the entire thing! The original title was "Changing Tension" but I like this better.

Another tower is located in the mountains. This is a job for the rebel called Froyd, a "beast" covered with thick fur and sharp claws, special for subzero temperatures and climbing.
