Co-host Wahine returned with episode 385 of Spin City to drop some funky jams and welcome guest, FSQ, represented by founder Chuck da Fonk. 

FSQ is a production team led by Chuck "Da Fonk" Fishman featuring contributions from Sa'D "The Hourchild" Ali, G Koop (part of George Clinton's production team), Chas Bronz (Bostonian and friend of Soul Clap Records) and One Era. The name is an acronym for "Funk Style Quality" - three elements that make up the core ethos of FSQ's sound.

Music made 100% by him in our beautiful homeland, the Canary Islands.
This uber talented artist I can call one of my best and oldest friend starting this cosmic trip almost when we were very very young evidently deserves much more focus due to his endless impulse to push the limits of quality beyond the Tannhäuser Gate, far away from this planet.

Here's an official remix I made for the German Tech-House producer Stimming. It's coming out on a charity compilation by Diynamic Music which includes remixes by Cassius, Kraak & Smaak, Hot Chip, Digitalism, Gui Boratto and many more. Had a lot of fun remixing this track as I was a huge fan of the original ever since it got out like 5 years ago. I'd describe my remix as kind of a Funky Tech-House vibe with a touch of Nu Disco.
