First 3 hours, warts n' all, of a meandering alcohol influenced 5 hour set on a Thursday night,  last month in Izakaya bar in Dublin. Just found this mix, forgot it was recorded. Haven't listened to it all the way through, but it was a mellow enough night and I remember enjoying playing,... will put up the last 2 hours if i find them. Having DJ'd during her early 20's Alice took a break for over a decade, preferring to dance to other DJs than play music herself. She reconnected with DJ’ing only recently during lockdown and is now doing regular shows on Cowbell Radio, Isolation Station and Rising Edge Radio, with occasional live-streams for various other platforms. Her style is down tempo chugging dance music, usually with a nod to the 80s and a large dose of sleaze.

While 2020 has been a massive shit sandwich with no ketchup, its been a great for music and let’s not forget that the orange lunatic got told to pack his toys and move on..see ya. 
Its been a vintage year for us too us too as Paper Wave got in to its stride with brilliant albums from Popsneon, Stubb and The Secret Soul Society along with a flurry of downtempo beauties. Paper Recordings signed their first African artist in Camblom Subaria and the US represented with Mr. Tea, ThrillHammer and Ryan Kick. Paper Disco knocked it out the park with Anoraak, James Rod and Trash The Wax Vol. 8 while Denmark and New Zealand went head to head with Kennedy and Jahn Solo. 
Flash Atkins dusted off his controller and blended it all for this end of year mix to see in to 2021 where we’re headed for the light. And just wait to see what we’ve got lined up for 2021….ooooooooooooooft!

Based in the beautiful and vibrant city of Madrid, Spanish DJ and Producer Extraordinaire - Rayko has been a leading light in the clubbing scene around Europe and beyond, since he founded his magnificent Rare Wiri label in 2008 where he has released some of the coolest names out there during all these years like Daniele Baldelli, Man Parrish, Gazeebo, Ilija Rudman, Ichisan, Spirit Catcher, Mushrooms Project, or Eric Duncan among many others

His very unique sound and personality, and incredible work ethic, coupled with  unstoppable creative genius have given Rayko the momentum and consistency to stack up a number of great achievements in his genres, although being such a humble and down to earth guy, he will tell you that he just loves what he does and is perpetually inspired to keep on doing it! 

Deeply rooted in the golden era of the ‘70s and ‘80s, Rayko’s influences are masterfully interpreted and transformed into modern day dancefloor bombs with great vision. His love affair with the evolution of synthesizers and vintage drum machines has gone on to heavily fuel his sound today, in addition to sonic desires of 80s Rock evident in his catalogue, that displays such exquisite musical versatility. 

Rayko is very proud to have featured on over fifty great vinyl releases, spread across labels such as Eskimo, Is it Balearic?, Whisky Disco, Lumberjacks in Hell, and Editorial, including two studio albums on Nang Recordings, in addition to over two hundred digital releases. Many of these titles have been repeatedly featured in Top 10 sales charts, with some releases making it to the coveted number one position on platforms like Juno Download, Beatport, and Traxsource. His talents as a remixer have been in constant high demand, with invitations from coveted Artists like Psychemagik, Sirs, In Flagranti, Roberto Rodriguez, or Dj Rocca, to name a few, calling upon his exceptional skills.

In his capacity as DJ, Rayko is much loved wherever he goes.
