In Aztec mythology, Chalchiuhtlatonal was a god of water. He looks over the sea and protects the animals living in it. It is said that he granted the gift of water to one human in 10,000 years to help look after the sea. 

He was related to Chalchiuhtlicue, goddess of running water and springs, rivers and lakes. She also was the protectress of children and new-borns, fishermen and crops. 

Some of Her many manifestations include: Acuecueyotl, "Woman Who Makes the Waves Swell," the Ocean-Goddess, invoked by women giving birth; Aticpac Calqui Cihuatl, "Woman Who Lives in the Sea;" Atlacamani "Sea Storm;" Ayauhteotl, Goddess of nighttime or early morning mist or fog, Ayopechcatl "She Who Dwells on the Back of the Tortoise," the protector of newborn children; among many others.

Et Kin is a musician/producer from Istanbul based in Berlin since 2010. Besides his solo project involved in various constellations such as God is God, Jen_accidental and Spiritczualic Enhancement Center in which the music is moving in fields of guitar improvisations, ambient, noise, techno, electronica, 4th world and spectral jazz. He is running the label Kinship since 2018 to release music from the telepathic circle. 

This is the 7th session of a series of sessions Recordat is hosting on Radio Alhara every Sunday from Berlin to Bethlehem to you.
