One night i start adding bass to this tune because it was very close to my fav. bpm. and I realize that the original version gives me all the freedom that i need and use to feel myself as part of the musicians in the original song. So by experimenting I end up creating a new one.

The bridge between rocksteady and roots began in the late 60s into the new decade of the 70s and with it, the sounds, tempo, and styles evolved into the next phase which would become roots reggae. Still, in between, there was a short period of time where the music and lyrics straddled the past and the future. Lee' Scratch" Perry was at the forefront of this change and played an essential role in developing new sounds, ways to utilize sound fx, and production styles.
