Jenova 7 & Mr. Moods - Old School Shit

I fell in love with drums and percussive instruments from an very early age. My dad is a musician too who plays a variaty of instruments so we've always had quite some 'sound-toys' at home. 2 years after my first day on earth in 1996, he putted me in front of a little Yamaha-Drum-Pad wich became my favorite toy to play with. As I got older, I've started trying a lot of different instruments but I always kept my passion for the percussive element in each of them. The song 'For My Father' was more or less created by accident, I went to the studio to record drums for another project and came up with a sound that I really liked so I recorded a lot of different beats. As I worked on them the day after, all the other elements became part of the song and I couldn't stop thinking about my dad. I finished it and send it to him because he is a very special person in my live and he deserves it. Without him, this journey might have never happened and I'm more than happy for his love and support.
