His 2nd solo @NightBassRecords EP opens up with a 2-step punch and ethereal melodies on 'Spend the Night’, followed by the bass-forward rhythms and filthy bass drop in ‘Inna’. The ‘Close Your Eyes’ single is a groovy roller that gives prominence to MPH’s uncompromisingly clean approach to soundscaping. A quick backstory - This track was created back in 2019 about a girl that I had feelings for, but feared it wasn’t reciprocated, hence the lyrics “I hope you like me, as more than just a friend”. Flash forward to the present and we’ve celebrated our 6 month anniversary and she’s wearing my merch! That’s why I had to put this song out, as a reminder of where I’ve come from both a music perspective, as well as personally.

"This track came from a session with our good friend BW back home in Hawaii. We made a few dub beats in our hometown at his studio, mostly just for fun. I played bass, Micah wrote and sang, and Brad played all the other instruments. We recorded the whole thing piece by piece at his house. I really like the addition of the horns on this one, and am really stoked on how it turned out." - Adam
