when the fnf music lowk so good you just ascend to a higher plane and become a being of greater power and just start crying hoping that you'll find more bangers like this

I feel like this song is about someone witnessing a hallucination because of their repressed trauma. There are so manyu instances where it sounds like the monster is screaming at us, trying to form a complete vowel but it sounds completely incoherent, yet we can almost understand what it's telling us. The vocal chops telling us that we're going crazy and that we're an awful, empty shell of a living being who spreads nothing but pain could be something they taught themselves to avoid experiencing that same pain, probably because it's what traumatized them in the first place. The climax where there are multiple bodies shown could be related to the chopped line saying "You let people down", reminding us of the people we hurt because of our own unresolved issues. By far the biggest beneficiary to this theory is the mania chart section where you have to press space to "forget it all".

Having all of this negative self talk play out before having to forget it all is such a genius metaphor for confronting your past issues.

funny story 1. this song was originally made like years back for something else entirely, i wanted to try and make my own mod completely by myself so i made saved me and the original song was lowkey still kinda fye to this day, but the sprites were actually buns. but at the time it was pretty fye so we decided to just put it in hidden floor, but it never really got any attention after that and almost got canceled. glad we didnt.

my inspiration for this song was mainly superheaven/otuka, and the middle section also kinda had a bit of inspo from radiohead/stranger things ost, very weird mix of inspo to take from ik.
