Eric “Mr. Q” Quander is an artist, author, and adventurous amputee. A professional actor and vocalist with over 20 years of performance and production experience, and has appeared on stages throughout the United States and Southeast Asia. Mr. Q is recognized as Founder of the African American Theatrical Ensemble (AATE), a not-for-profit organization committed to conserving and producing classic Black theater and performance art. In 2018, he became a left-below the knee amputee (LBKA); since that time he has become an advocate in the differently-abled community, including serving as the Mobility Ambassador to Thailand for N.Y?. based PENTA Medical and being a much sought after motivational speaker and writer, with articles appearing in the nation’s top periodicals targeting those dealing with limb-loss, AMPLITUDE and IN-MOTION magazines. 

A Certified Life Coach, Mr. Q is known as “the life coach for amputees,” and author of several articles, including “The Amputee’s Guide to Meditation: Anytime, Anywhere in 5 Minutes or Less!” and “Breaking the Walls: A 12 Month Journey to Deconstructing the Thoughts That Block Us”.
