As expected, we release a second track of the next Ep 'Vortex' from DkA. It's Sobek this time for a fantastic remix on 'Bonjour L'Afrique'. It's released on Constant Circles on May 26th, can't wait <3 

Release Info: 
We move in Constant Circles. Music, Art, Fashion, Life. The most perfect shape in existence, a mathematical certainty, with no beginning and no end. This is our journey. This is our sound. 
Inspired by Hip Hop, 70s Funk and Jazz music, DkA skillfully merges all these influences, above the foundations of Deep House and dancefloor Tech. Following a string of releases on high profile labels like Mobilee, Hot Creations and Get Physical, along with a well respected live show performed across the world, he makes his debut on Constant Circles with a rounded and eclectic EP, showcasing his versatility and craftsmanship as a producer. 
Add to this stellar remixes from Sobek (Moblack Records) and Point Sole (Sincopat, Suara), who each bring their individual touches and style, adding groove and melodics to the respective originals. 
Artwork by Factory Fifteen: 
Factory Fifteen is a directing and design collective, formed by Jonathan Gales, Paul Nicholls and Kibwe Tavares. They create thought-provoking short films, narrative driven music videos, animations, immersive installations, branding and digital artwork.

Next up for Get Physical is the first sampler single from Djuma Soundsystem's upcoming Body Language mix, which lands in May.

The Norwegian DJ and producer Mikkas is an underground stalwart who has popped up on the likes of Rebirth, Crosstown Rebels and Sol Selectas. His deep songs come with absorbing feelings and proper starry melodies that are catchy yet considered. He’s constantly touring the world playing all the major league clubs and festivals and now
once more he shows that what he crafts is more than just DJ tools with a super new single that is backed by a remix from Re.You.

While touring in Africa last year Djuma was amazed by the traditional Kenyan vocalist Olith’s androgynic voice, and rented a studio to record her, ‘Oloro Nyager’ is the result of this fruitful meeting. As well as guest vocalist Olith, Mikkas also collaborates with Russian duo and label associates Fake Mood on this E.P. The outcome is the sort of deeply spiritual and melodic house track that will form the high point in any set. Tribal chanting, yawning pads and rippling drums all make it superbly seductive. A club mix ups the ante with bigger drums that suck you in and encourage you to make some serious moves on the floor, all while the emotional content of the original remains.

Re.You is a tech house titan who has appeared on taste making outlets like Moon Harbour and Connected for around a decade. His edgy take on the genre is here for all to hear as he flips the track into a more experimental tech house track with an epic breakdown and more loose, scattered drums and hits.

This is a mouthwatering appetiser for the sure to be special Body Language mix from Djuma Soundsystem.

After their last work together, Sestante, released on VillaHangar, @mattsawyerdj ’s sound is about to meet @everything-counts ’ touch for a new track, Umma: “We really like the track, we wanted to realize something suited for the dancefloor, with an elegant feeling. We do think it’s an hybrid genre not really explored yet: afro in the mood but housy in the bass”. Umma is going to be released Friday July 19th on VillaHangar in its two versions Radio Edit and Extended Mix. These brand new records will be available on all the major digital stores and platforms.

The first Afro Acid release by Italian duo we.amps, Path is anything but a shy introduction to the artists’ sound.

“Acid Path (Original Mix)” begins with a striking vocal refrain and boomy kick, followed by a series of thunderous synth stabs and a moody rumbling undercurrent that does not come up for air as the track builds toward a stunning soulful breakdown, transforming this hard-hitting acid heater into an instant classic guaranteed to catalyze countless dance floors post-release on October 5th.

A nefarious synth refrain distinguishes the otherwise standard intro of “Atomic Path (Original Mix)”, the second track on Path. Similar to Acid Path, Atomic Path utilizes the breakdown to transform the track into something new - this time a playful departure into the world of the ambient synth, a dreamy interlude not commonly found in a dark and bass-heavy tech-house track - but then, “common” is not really what Afro Acid is known for.
