“This song is about finding your way back home to yourself, and reclaiming who you are. I wrote it about my experience leaving behind a relationship with someone who had become controlling to the point of eradicating my sense of self; cutting ties with someone who was invested in making me and those around me believe I was unwell, unstable and confused. Like most women, (especially those of us on the Autistic Spectrum) I’ve experienced abuse by those who were offended by my dislike of physical contact. It just feels good to scream ‘Don’t TOUCH me, get your hands OFF me’ with complete freedom on stage, after spending most of my life screaming it at people who want more from me than I want to give.” - Catti Frighthouse

Mrs Frighthouse are a duo creating avant-garde noise metal to discuss their experiences as queer women, exploring themes such as misogyny, transphobia and the love they have for one another. 

They’re wives who sing, scream and take it in turns to play the accordion. Sometimes it’s sad, sometimes it’s weird, sometimes it’s fun sapphic metal vibes.
